- Isolation Rates and Concentration Groupings
This data will be updated monthly.

The top graph shows the isolation rate of Legionella from 1993 to the
present. This is derived from air-conditioning water samples. The
lowest level of detection is 10 CFU/mL. The monthly figures are the
percentage of samples that had a positive detection.
The second graph shows the breakdown of
the positive Legionella results from 2000 onwards. The table is a
stacked bar graph with the positive counts grouped into those from 10
to <100 CFU/mL, 100 to <1,000 CFU/mL and 1,000 or greater CFU/mL.
This 100% stacked column compares the percentage each group
contributed to the total of all positive Legionella isolates for that
month.
The bottom graph shows the breakdown of
the plate count results from 2000 onwards. The table is a
stacked bar graph with the positive counts grouped into those from <10,000 CFU/mL,
10,000 to <100,000 CFU/mL, 100,000 to <1 Million CFU/mL,
1Million to <5 Million CFU/mL and 5 Million or greater CFU/mL.
This 100% stacked column compares the percentage each group
contributed to the total plate count count levels for that
month.
