The figures of legionellosis cases in Australia for the 12 month period to December 31 2004 were a total of 298 cases compared to 321 cases in for the same time period in 2002. The number of cases per State or Territory were: Victoria 86, Western Australia 62, South Australia 58, New South Wales 55. Queensland 32, Northern Territory 3, ACT and Tasmania both had 1 case.
