As a valued client, you can collect pre-ordered supplies from a
nominated Sullivan Nicolaides collection centre, and still be able
to drop samples into any Sullivan Nicolaides collection centre for
free transportation to Biotech Laboratories.
Our clients can pre-order supplies either by e-mail

Due to security arrangements for the entire building clients
will not have direct access to our laboratory area. However there
is direct access to a designated area under the building for
Biotech Laboratories' clients to deliver samples and to collect
pre-ordered supplies. Please note that the entry areas, and under
building areas are under security camera surveillance. A map
detailing the point of entry via at the corner of Best and Hurworth
Streets is below.
For those collecting pre-ordered supplies (24hr access/7
days a week):
All supplies must be pre-ordered so that we have them in the
designated area ready for you to collect. Supplies that require
refrigeration will be in the sample refrigerator with supplies on
the racks in the area. All supplies with be clearly labelled with
your company name. Should you need assistance between 8am and 5pm
there is also a telephone in this area.
For those delivering samples (24hr access/7 days a
week):
This area has an alert switch that you will activate after
placing samples in the labelled refrigerator. Should you need
assistance between 8am and 5pm there is also a telephone in this
area. The attached map shows the route from Best Street to the
designated parking area. Please note that for safety reasons
reverse parking only is allowed. You then exit your
vehicle and follow the path designated on the map to the "Biotech
Refrigerated Specimen delivery & supplies location".
Should you have a scheduled meeting with the management staff,
you will be required to present to the main entrance of the
building at 24 Hurworth Street. The Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology
reception staff will require that you log into the visitors
computer program which will include a photo image that will be
printed on your visitors pass. Biotech Laboratories will be
contacted and a staff member will arrive to escort you to the
relevant meeting room.

free-of-charge.

Transportation
Biotech Laboratories is able to offer clients free
transportation of samples from any Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology
Collection Centre to Biotech Laboratories. There are over 250
locations throughout Brisbane and south via Grafton and Lismore to
Coffs Harbour (NSW), west to Warwick (Qld) and north via
Maryborough, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and Townsville to Cairns (Qld).
In some circumstances we can also arrange a free collection service
from your premises.

Please note that all water samples must be received and
processed by our laboratory within 24 hours of collection. Also,
that samples received after normal working hours will be processed
the following day. All samples sent from outside of the Brisbane
CBD on a Friday or the day before a public holiday will be
processed on the following day. Samples processed on weekends and
public holidays will attract a surcharge

For chemical analyses of food and water we use the Australian
Government analytical laboratory - the National Measurement
Institute. This NATA accredited laboratory is Australia's peak
measurement body responsible for biological, chemical, legal,
physical and trade measurement. NMI is a division within the
Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. To obtain
information on chemical analyses of food or water samples, please contact
