Legionellosis in Australia 2001
The year-to-date figures of legionellosis cases for 2001 as of 19 June 2001 showed a total of 143 cases compared to 299 cases in for the same time period in 2000. During the period 23 May 2001 to 19 June 2001, Victoria had 10 cases; New South Wales had 7 cases; Queensland, 3; Tasmania and South Australia had 1 case each and the remaining states and territories reported no cases.
