COVID-19 update

Monday, 23 March 2020

Biotech Laboratories is monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19 daily, as the safety and well-being of our staff is our priority. The COVID-19 measures we have implemented are guided by the advice from our medical experts within Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology and the advice from the Australian Government.

Our COVID-19 approach is to manage the situation in a balanced, calm and measured way, acting swiftly and communicating clearly of any disruptions that may occur in accordance with our contingency and continuity plans, which make up part of our NATA accreditation.

Our staff have been briefed to comply with CODIV-19 protocols including self-containment, and good hygiene practices. If the need arises, suitable processing staff or scientific staff can be sourced from within SNP departments, as required.

During this time we have cancelled all face-to-face meetings with clients and other parties, opting for phone or other digital means. Also, unessential client and visitor access to our office is restricted until further notice.

Covid-19 is evolving rapidly and changes may need to be made. We will communicate any changes as they occur. However, as Biotech Laboratories is classified as an essential service, we do not anticipate major disruptions in the future.
